PAPER BAND FILTER  The paper band filter is a combination of a wire supported mesh with straight rod conveying the filter paper as the filtration medium. This is the fully automatic & includes a clean coolant tank, dust bin, non woven synthetic filter fabric (normally called as filter paper) driving system, control system.  Flow rates from 40 to 850 litres/min.  Various grades of filter media. Integral coolant pump option Gravity feed from as little as 400mm from floor level. APPLICATIONS :-  For the separation of particles from all types of liquids.  Machines such as grinding machines, washing machines,lathes, rotary and inline transfer machines, honing machines, tube drawing machines, process waters and all types of solidsliquid separation.  Water treatment and effluent control, etc. ADVANTAGES:-  Low Running Costs The power required is minimal, as the filter only operates when the filter medium is contaminated, so only operates a few times a day. Rolls of filter paper may last many months and are competitively priced.  Easy to Install The unit is free-standing and only needs gravity inlet connection, return pipework to the machine (flexible or rigid pipe) and a mains electrical connection. In all, three to four hours work.  Liquid Life Coolant life is greatly extended with reduced topup.  Bacterial growth is inhibited by the efficient removal of contamination  Labour Saving The roll of filter paper and collection bin only require occasional attention. PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION:-  The coolant enters the filter via a flow dispenser and falls directly onto the filter media bed, which is retained in a pool state by an endless steel mesh belt. The coolant passes through the media which retains the solids and flows directly into the clean tank where it can be pumped back to the machine head. When the media is contaminated, the liquid level rises raising with it a ball float, which in turn actuates a switch and causes the endless belt to move forward via a reduction geared unit. The contaminated filter media is discharged into a waste bin. Whilst the belt is moving forward, the clean media is brought on, thus allowing the coolant to pass freely and the float to fall.

We manufacture eco type paper band filters that are mounted on rollers for ease of shifting during tank cleaning. They do not have any electrical panel. The dirty filter paper is wound on a mandrel for easy disposal while the dirt collected is stored in a bin. They are suitable for fine coolant filtration for honing, grinding, lapping, gun drilling, etc. For small individual machines. Working fluid with dirt is exposed to finned magnetic separator first. After magnetic separation the fluid drops in paper band filter trough. A float-actuated clutch derives motion from a common drive & indexes dirty filter paper.

As the porosity of paper gets filled up due to accumulates the liquid level rises. This triggers the float switch which starts the geared motor and fresh paper from the reel is pulled forward automatically. Now the liquid passes through the fresh paper and float switch shuts down the geared motor. completely automatic operation, no manual attention needed. Continues trouble free operation.

The centrifuge is driven by 3 hp, 2-pole specially designed motor & the bowl is mounted directly on the shaft of motor. The entire centrifuge assembly is mounted on anti-vibration mound and the assembly is perfectly balanced. The liquid/oil to be filtered is pumped to the centrifuge through the inlet. The oil gets guided to the wall of centrifuge by the special design of the bowl. The fine dust gets separated because of high centrifugal force acting on the particles which is 20 times the gravitational force. The rubber bowl inside the centrifuge holds the fine dust sticking to its wall. The clean oil exits the centrifuge bowl and comes out to the clean coolant outlet of the centrifuge. The rubber basket can be easily removed by unlocking the lid and can be cleaned manually.the separation of solids within the hydrocyclone depends on following criteria: d.c. As the vortex approaches the lower nozzle, which is part of the underflow orifice, results into a throttling effect in the nozzle creating a secondary vortex moves upward towards the vortex outlet, allowing the clarified liquid to pass through the outlet pipe. The high centrifugal force created within the primary vortex causes the solid particles to accumulate on the outside walls of the cone, where they slips down & exit through the nozzle.
