We are offering biodiesel production plants. Biodiesel can be used in compression ignition engines without any modification. It is produced by continuous trans-esterification reaction of seed oils with methanol using caustic soda as catalyst. It is carried out in two or three stages with subsequent washing drying and polishing of the product. Nearly 100 percent conversion of the triglycerides in the oil or fat to biodiesel takes place. The excess methanol is recovered and the biodiesel is filtered to remove potential impurities. Glycerine is recovered as a valuable byproduct in the process. the trans-esterification process is most efficient when the feedstock quality is equivalent to refined and bleached oil (rb). Removing the phosphorus and fatty acids is critical to producing the best quality biodiesel at the lowest cost. consumption and yield per 1000 kg raw oil: (a) methanol consumed: 120 kg, (b) catalyst consumed: 10 kg, (c) glycerin recovered: 110 kg, (d) biodiesel produced: 950 kg.
