Cyclone separators separate dust from gas streams using a combination of forces, such as centrifugal, gravitational, and inertial. These forces move the dust to an area where the forces exerted by the gas stream are minimal. The separated dust is moved by gravity into a hopper, where it is temporarily stored. Cyclone separators are use for cyclonic action to separate dust particles from the gas stream. In a typical cyclone, the dust gas stream enters at an angle and is spun rapidly. The centrifugal force created by the circular flow throws the dust particles toward the wall of the cyclone. After striking the wall, these particles fall into a hopper located underneath. Cyclone separators create a dual vortex to separate coarse from fine dust. The main vortex spirals downward and carries most of the coarser dust particles. In metal working industry, various water-based emulsions are used as coolant to enhance productivity. This emulsion is a mixture of water and different types of cutting oils in a specific ratio While machining, oil used for lubricating various parts of the machine tool, get mixed with the coolant. This leads to change in the properties of coolant and thereby decreasing its efficiency. The lubricating oil mixed in the coolant keeps floating on the coolant surface and adheres to the coolant tank surface. This generates various types of fungi, which leads to an irritating smell around the coolant tank.To avoid all these problems, Endless belt type oil skimmers are manufactured by Span Filter mist India Pvt. Ltd. These skimmers consists of a geared motor that continuously rotates a Belt made up of special material which allows the oil particles to stick it. These oil particles are then scrapped by a scrapper and collected in a separate oil collecting bin.  

  Get Rid of moisture Problem & Save Energy Upto 5 %     The actual pressure drop across After cooler is always high i.e. 0.5 kg/cm2 which means compressor has to compress 0.5 kg/cm2 more to deliver required pressure. This causes increase in Shaft Horse power by 3%. We design customised after coolers for your compressor so that pressure drop is less than 0.1 kg/cm2. This stright way gives saving of 3% and simple pay back on your investment is less than one year. The Moisture separators supplied by compressor manufacturers are low cost baffle type design. These are ineffective and causes more pressure drops. Moisture gets carried over to Air Dryer or to the plant.   This ultimately results in more power consumption for air dryer plant and more breakdowns of pneumatic tools due to moisture problem and hence more maintenance cost. Our centrifugal moisture separators are designed for very low pressure drop i.e.120 mm 0 WC (0.01 kg/cm2) and maximum moisture separation due to whirling action which removes up to 90 % of the moisture before air reaches to air dryer or plant.
