As the working is based on a solid state circuit, the life of these switches is virtually infinite and will last the life time of the product in which they are used. Capacitive switches can be offered on any di-electric panel like Plastic, Glass, Wood, Granite Tiles, etc.

Metal Keyboards are made using stainless steel material or aluminium which makes them very tough and can be used in very harsh environments. The switch elements are embedded inside the stainless steel or aluminium due to which they are completely protected from any external abuse.

These Silicon Rubber Keyboards comprise of a Snap Dome Switch and a Glass Epoxy PCB, which is used as a base and for the circuit. A layer of Silicon material covers and seals this assembly using Industrial Grade Adhesives. These type of sealed keyboards can be offered in any size and shape and are made as per customer's specifications and requirements.

These are Industrial Sealed Keyboards which can be connected to a computer directly as the switches are programmed to give an ASCII code through a PS2USB output. The Industrial Sealed Keyboards can be customized as per requirement not only by way of size, shape, number of switches, etc., but by even programming each switch to give a customized code.

Keyboards having illuminated switch areas are commonly termed as Illuminated Keyboards. Illumination can be of two types – entire switch area or only for the textlegends. Illuminated is achieved by using a light source under the switch. In most of the cases, illuminated push buttons made by reputed manufacturers like Omron, Rafi, etc. are used.
