Roto Cone Vacuum Dryer suitable for drying of materials which cannot resist high temperature, material which are easily oxidized, volatatile materials which should be retrieved, materials strong irritant and poisonous in nature. The roto cone dryer with improved technology integrates during operation under vacuum. The roto cone dryer facilitates enhanced drying efficiency, low temperature operation and economy of process by total solvent recovery. It helps cGMP based working by achieving optimum dust control, while offering advantages of efficient charging and discharging of materials. The drying unit equipped with lump breakers initially breaks large lumps and subsequently powders them (in single cone). The rotary action of the dryer together with mechanical action of the breakers cuts down drying time and gives a lump free product.

Ribbon Blenders consist of a U-shaped horizontal trough and a specially fabricated ribbon agitator. A ribbon agitator consists of a set of inner and outer helical agitators. The outer ribbon moves materials in one direction and the inner ribbon moves the materials in the opposite direction. The ribbons rotate at approx. 300 fpm moves materials both radially and laterally to insure thorough blends in short cycle times. Ribbon agitators are used for blends that will be between 40 and 100% of the rated capacity of the blender.

As viscosities reach 500,000 cP or higher, planetary-style mixers perform better than agitators with a fixed axis of rotation. In a planetary mixer, two or more blades rotate on their own axes while orbiting on a common axis. The agitators continually advance into the batch and contact fresh product all the time. The classic double planetary mixer (DPM) is a relatively low speed device; it relies on a product’s viscosity to impart shear as two identical blades move through the batch and push materials against the vessel surfaces and between the blades. Depending on the blade configuration, a DPM can handle viscosities up to 8 million cP. Newer planetary mixer designs feature one or two stirrer blades (similar to those in a DPM) supplemented by one or two high speed disperser shafts which also revolve on their own axes while orbiting the mix vessel. These “hybrid” planetary mixers are ideal for processing viscous (~2 million cP), highly-filled applications requiring ultra-fine dispersion quality. SPM High Speed Dispersers are standard workhorses used throughout the chemicals, plastics, coatings, inks, paints, adhesives and other industries. Their primary purpose is to incorporate powders into liquid and break down particle agglomerates to produce a fine dispersion.Conventional High Speed Dispersers consist of a driven vertical shaft and a high shear Cowl disc blade.The blade rotates at up to 18-22 m/s and creates a radial flow pattern within a stationary mix vessel. The blade creates a vortex that pulls in the contents of the vessel to the blade’s sharp edges. The blade surfaces then mechanically tear apart solids thereby reducing their size, and at the same time dispersing them among the liquid used as the carrier fluid.High Speed Dispersers are ideal for dispersions that are up to a maximum of approx. 50,000 centipoise. When used in conjunction with Multi-Shaft Mixers, they can be useful to several hundred thousand centipoise

Bottom entry agitators are good choices for outputs from bottom of tank , which can make the discharge port mixing well.  Bottom entry agitator are designed to fit into the bottom or side of a mixing vessel. These mixers are typically used in conjunction with a slow speed anchor stirrer or scraper unit for high viscosity products.
