Products with IBR / NIBR option are available. A venturi tube is ideal for applications where a low permanent pressure loss (high pressure recovery) is required. This is used for measuring non-viscous liquids, gases, air, steam, slurry etc. The types are made according to the methods of manufacture of internal surface of entrance cone & profile at the intersection of the entrance cone & the throat. Rectangular types are used for applications in ducting systems.

STAR-MECH orifice plates are manufactured from finest material with close tolerance to match standards ISO 5167, BS 1042, API 2530 & AGA Report 3. Mounting between flanges or carrier ring(s) are available. The orifice plate assembly provides accurate measurement with no maintenance.

The compact flow meter is specially designed flow meters which installation cost is very low as compared to the conventional orifice flow meter. It substantially reduces the pressure leak points giving energy saving.  The orifice flow meter offered by us is applicable in various industries for measuring the flow rate. Due to simple & rigid design the flow meter is a maintenance free instrument in place of conventional mechanical flow measuring device.

  A Two valve manifold combines facilities for isolation, calibration, test & venting of the instrument. This manifold is generally used with pressure gauges, transmitters, pressure switches & similar pressure measurement equipment. The manifold are available in number of configurations to suit every type of installation. A variety of mounting / support methods are possible .

An integral orifice assembly is a specially designed prefabricated meter run used when a high accuracy in flow measurement is required for extremely small flow rates. This is used where the line size is small than 50 NB (2”). Bodies with socket-weld or threaded end connections are available.

Products with IBR / NIBR option are available. A flow nozzle is generally selected for steam (vapour) flows at high velocities of flowing fluid, manufactured to ISO 5167, ASME PTC 19.5 code. It is more stable at higher temperatures & velocities than an orifice as it is rigid. The nozzles are used in a wide variety of applications that include steam, vapour, water, air etc. & where venturi tubes are too long.

STAR-MECH manufactures flow meters (primary elements / devices & secondary devices) from 15 NB (1/2”) to 5000 NB (200”), pressure upto 250 kg/cm^2, temperature upto 1000°C for application with service like any liquid, gas or steam.We help to select a flow element, depending on the process conditions like orifice plate assembly, integral orifice plate assembly, Averaging Pitot Tube (Fluid-Bar), flow nozzle, venturi tube or aerofoil for the flow meter. These are the elements with high accuracy.

A condensing pot is used as sealing liquid container to safe guard a measuring instrument. They are suitable to maximum pressure up to 150 Kg/cm^2 & temperature up to 550°C.

Products with IBR NIBR option are available. This is a multi-port velocity averaging device. This is a product among differential pressure producers which has the lowest permanent pressure loss, thus providing maximum energy saving. This is suitable for large pipe diameters as the installation is easy & less expensive.

An air header is used for air distribution networks for centralizing several connections. It saves considerable installation cost & space. In a standard air header 10 outlets are available.
