The standard type of side draft spray painting booth; at times, is not suitable to facilitate the painting of small components because it requires more floor space and it consumes more electrical power. Further, end user; wish to paint small and tiny components; feels it too big and not useful to him. To overcome this feeling; we have developed a small and tiny side draft spray painting booth with the name Bench Spray Painting Booth.

These type of painting booths are specially designed for heavy and voluminous components which are difficult to handle; like tractors, chassis of vehicles, trailers, earth moving machineries, wagons etc. The fresh air flow; in such painting booth is from top to bottom. The water tank is placed underground; it can be either alkali-proof RCC of fabricated out of MS plates. Depending on the size of the component, the painting booth can be single sided or the double sided. Which means; there shall be single or double extraction chamber, on either or both sides of the component. The water treatment is same as that in the side draft spray painting booth.

SIDE DRAFT SPRAY PAINTING BOOTH These Spray Painting Booths meet most of the industrial finishing requirements. The fresh air flows from behind the operator; across the component towards the extraction chamber. That is reason, they are known as SIDE DRAFT spray painting booths. The Paint booth is formed of mainly FOUR parts. Firstly, a WATER TANK which rests on the floor. On the top of water tank is EXTRACTION CHAMBER. EXHAUST FAN is placed on top of the extraction chamber. Next to the water tank and extraction chamber is PAINTING AREA. This is an enclosure wherein component is placed and painting is carried out.

This is a conventional pre-treatment wherein the plant cost is less and is suitable for low volume production lines. The chemicals are stored in the MSSS fabricated tanks. The components are placed in the baskets or cages and they are dipped in each process tank for pre-fixed period of time. The movement of the basket or cage can be either manual; with a monorail and hoist or automatic with a transporter system.
