Valmont Industry is a global producer of fabricated metal products and coatings with 95 manufacturing facilities worldwide . The Company operates through four segments: Engineered Infrastructure Products (EIP), Utilities Support Structures (Utility), Irrigation segment & coatings segment. Engineered Infrastructure Products segment consists of the manufacture of engineered metal structures and components for the global lighting and traffic, wireless communication, roadway safety and access systems applications. Utility Support Structures segment consists of the manufacture of engineered steel and concrete structures for the global utility industry. Irrigation segment consists of the manufacture of agricultural irrigation equipment and related parts and services. Coatings segment consists of galvanizing, anodizing and powder coating services on a global basis. In Indapur near Pune we have state of art facility for Hot Dip Galvanising and is one of biggest in Asia. Our galvanizing facilities serve a broad base of customers in industries that include recreation, petrochemical, agriculture, utility and infrastructure. Another driver is the high cost of corrosion worldwide. Greater emphasis on improving the service life of steel products to control these costs will require substantial ongoing financial commitments. The long-term demand for protective finishes is also evident due to stronger requirements for steel infrastructure in emerging economies.
