It is a double walled bath with inner chamber made of S.S. & outer wall made of duly powder coated/painted. The gap between outer & inner walls is fitted with special grade glass wool insulation. The concentric rings can be removed to accommodate containers of various sizes. Temp. From ambient to 90 0C +- 2 0C is to be controlled by thermostat.

Water baths have uses for different purposes. Water baths are capable of heating cement samples to a desired temperature for as long as required under atmospheric pressure. Water baths also keep pressure cured samples submerged under heated water to prevent drying shrinkage that may induce fractures within the specimen.  

Specification & use :This water bath is made up from SS-304 having double wall construction. It is designed to meet all requirement of pathological, Microbiological Chemical,physical and other laboratorical application.A digital temperature controller controls temp at any point from 5 deg c above ambient to 95 deg c. The accuracy of control is +/- 0.5 deg c to a temp Of full scale range.There is an over temp cut off to protect bath and samples inside.

Insulation Insulation is provided in all the double walled Baths to prevent any undesired loss of temperature inside the Baths. 2" thick glasswool insulation is provided in case of High Temperature Baths and 3" thick glasswool insulation, in combination with Low Temperature protection Kenee Foam, is provided in all Low Temperature Baths. Heating & Cooling Heating is provided through long lasting sealed heaters supported on refractory bases / immersion type heater fixed at the bottom of the working chambers. A hermetically sealed compressor, coupled with an evaporation coil and fan cooled condenser, assembled in an easily serviceable tray at the bottom provides the cooling for below ambient temperatures. Temperatures The temperature ranges from above ambient to 100oC in all heated baths but extends to 250oC in case of Oil Baths. In the Low Temperature Baths, the temperature ranges from ambient to - 40oC. Accuracy is as per table attached. Safety Water level arrangement is provided in most of the Baths to ensure the safety of the Heating/Cooling devices. Power Supply is automatically cut-off if the water level falls below the required level. Controls EGO Thermostats, Digital Indicator Cum Controller, 3 Heat Rotary Switch, Temperature Regulators, Indicating lamps etc. as per the requisites of the Bath are provided. Power All Baths are operated on 220 volts single phase AC supply.

Most general laboratory water baths go from ambient up to 80oC or 99oC. Boiling baths will boil water at 100oC (under normal conditions). Any baths that work above 100oC will need a liquid in them such as oil. Any baths that work below ambient will need an internal or external cooling system. If they work below the freezing point of water they will need to be filled with a suitable anti-freeze solution. If you require very accurate control you require the laboratory stirred baths with accurate digital temperature controller / circulator.
