Physical properties : 1. % elongation : 120-200% 2. Tensile strength: 100-150 nmm2 2. Nominal dia: 3.15mm + 0.00mm, – 0.08mm or as per customer specification 6. Size: zincaluminium wire having size with tolerance of +0.00mm and – 0.08 mm. Commonly used size 3.17 mm. 7. Sampling plan: one sample per 1 ton lot or as per heat which ever is lower 8. Acceptance criteria : 1. Zincaluminium wire should be free form burr’s, cuts, kinks, bends, etc. 2. Zincaluminium wire should be of bright shiny in appearance. 3. Twit test: wire should not split. 9. Handling and storage: zincaluminium wire can be stored in coil form with plastic wrapping. It can also be packed in 100 kgs. Coils in m.s. Drum. 10. Shelf – life: zincaluminium wire has infinite shelf life
