The Jamunapari Goat is a variety of goat that is native to the Indian subcontinent. The coat of this variety is mainly white with tan patches on the neck and head. Diversity in the colour of the coat also has been observed. They are mainly bred for meat and milk. They usually weigh an average of 120 kg and are good for obtaining meat. On an average, it yields 2 kg of milk every day.
