This helps in absorbing inclusions and impurities, and thus producing cleaner and better quality steel. Our pre melted calcium aluminate also adjusts the basicity of Slag, lowers the melting temperature of slag and increases its fluidity. This helps the slag to remove sulphur from the steel in form of sulphides, which moves easily towards more fluid slag. Hence it can also acts as desulphurising agent. The increased basicity and fluidity of slag also minimizes the erosion of refractory lining thus increasing the ladle life greatly.
