Wooden Fishing Boat
These kinds of Boats are built traditionally. Construction of the Boat starts with laying of a keel, a massive peace of wood supported on a branching stern about a foot above the ground at both ends then stern timber and stern post are fixed above the keel at both end after this frames are to be attached on the keel. The planks are fastened horizontally on either side of the keel on frames. The planks are joined edge to edge. After planking the stringer is to be fixed inside on the frames/ribs of the Vessel then Deck Beam is to be fixed for supporting of Deck planks and providing the Cabin and other facilities according the utility of the Boat/Vessel. Rudder is a flat broad piece of wood which is mainly used for getting a forward lead to the expected direction. We provide mast in every ship which is made of timber tree and it is fixed on ribs above the keel. This is used to tie the sail with ropes for moving a Boat/Vessel forward. The sails are used mainly when the Vessel are going to mid sea.

The major outwardly visible distinguishing feature of the Vessel design is its shape. Most of the current fishing vessels have a blunt forward shape. This design feature incorporates a narrow forward shape of the vessel peculiar of fast marine craft. This kind of aft shape, which is unconventional in fishing vessels, creates a higher pressure zone and twisting of flow streamlines to achieve improved hydronamic efficiency for the hull. Such design aft shape helps the vessel to achieve better stability for operation in more rough and deep water. This boatdesign features also involves an asymmetric nozzle propeller system, the aerofoil sections of which were developed to generate hydrodynamically optimum thrust factors in complex flow conditions peculiar to small and medium marine craft. This boat design also incorporates ergonomic design factors for better operation and maintenance of the vessel. Better accommodation standards, large and well insulated fish holds and improved deck arrangement. This design vessel expected in level of performance by saving of about 20% in fuel compare to comparable size fishing vessels presently operating in our location which gets better free running and trawling speed at lesser RPM. It seems to be capable for operating in all weather condition in deep water. The deck layout and other arrangement have maximum spaces and convenience for the crew to engage efficient in fishing operation.

The fiberglass boats are of one peace moulded with suitable buoyancy tank to ensure the boat afloat even in flooded condition. Hard cone – china design type and combination of FRP Hull and Wooden deck flaring Top side forward and modify Vee aft with flatter section for his stability and low power requirement. Hull shall be used complex of approved polyflex GR-200-24 ISOTHALIC based resin and low alkali borosilicate “E” glass fiber forcemeat forthe construction. MEKP based S.C. 999-20 catalyst and S.C. 999-30 Cobalt napthananate accelerator used for achieving required cure. All other material used in construction will be of marine quality. The framing system employed is transverse system through out. Longitudinal are provided wherever necessary. Wooden engine bearer will be provided to concide with the longitudinal system in engine room. All frames will be of wood coated with FRP. The framing in deck and deckhouse are arranged to coincide with the framing of the main hull. Hull will be pigmented of owner choice all exposed metal surfaces other then anodized fitting will be painted of owner choice. The FRP boat are much economical as it has no maintenance expanses and saving about 20% fuel as it has very smooth and shining outer surface.
