WIRE ROPECABLE CUTTER. It works on Hydraulic principle, as the name suggests, and is meant to cut cleanly and easily, wire ropescables of various sizes. The cutter has steel construction with case hardened pins and hardened & ground tool steel cutting blades and 'U'blades. Being Compact & light weight makes it portable and convenient to employ in places with restricted floor space. Integral Pump and cutter Body does away with hose pipe, loose fittings, and costly maintenance, and gives ease of operation and handling. Interchangeability of parts facilitates replacement.

Knockout punches are very useful for punching big holes in sheet metal and panels, a job which is otherwise difficult, tedious and time consuming, more so when the panel size is very big. It is just unsurpassable for punching such holes on existing panels at site. Slug-O-Ster can punch holes within a minute, ranging from 12 mm to 125 mm dia. in sheet metal thickness up to 10 gauge (3 mm approx.) Special punches can be supplied for making holes of square, rectangular or other shapes as desired. OMEGA’ HYDRAULIC WIRE ROPE/CABLE CUTTER. It works on Hydraulic principle, as the name suggests, and is meant to cut cleanly and easily, wire ropes/cables of various sizes. CONSTRUCTION: 'OMEGA' Wire Rope/Cable cutter consists of a hydraulic plunger pump which when actuated by the handle, release valve being in closed condition, pumps oil in the cylinder, forcing the ram out. The ram has a cutting blade attached to it and this pierces the wire rope or cable held against a pair of 'U' shaped blades housed in 'U' blade holder, which is hinged to the cutter body at the bottom and upper link (latch) at the top. This arrangement enables the cutter to be employed at any point of an endless wire rope or cable. Normal cutting time is about 4 to 5 minutes. Two types of plunger are provided, the smaller plunger makes the travel slow of the ram, and bigger plunger fastens the travel of ram thereby making the cutting operation faster. The release valve provided at the top enables the self retracting ram to return to its position. The air valve ensures smooth working of the ram. CONSTRUCTION: As the name suggests, it works on electromagnetic principle and consist of an electromagnet fixed to the end plate, a floating plate on one side of which is fixed the armature, a friction plate with either a square hole or internal spline at its centre, and the mounting plate and a square piece of shaft or spline shaft. The square centre piece is keyed to the motor shaft. The friction plate rotates with the motor shaft but is free to float axially on the square shaft. Normally, due to spring pressure, the friction plate is, held tight between the mounting plate and the floating plate and brake is 'ON’ When the current is supplied to the electro magnet the magnet attracts the floating plate against spring, pressure, thus releasing the brake, i.e. Brake is 'OFF'. This brake is very ideal for mounting directly on the motor flange and no separate foundation is necessary to fix the brake. The brake can also be supplied with twin or triple- friction discs for higher torque capacity, and can be provided with manual release mechanism, if necessary, Manual release mechanism is inevitable if the brake is to be used on hoisting gear of crane, winch or hoist. For assessing the size of "OMEGA' brake required for a particular application, it is necessary to know the H. P. of the equipment and the speed of the shaft in R. P. M. where the brake is to be mounted. The following formula enables calculating the average breaking torque required for the equipment.

'OMEGA' model 100 Heavy Duty Can Opener is meant for cutting open round tins of any size. (upto 5 Kg). It Is heavy duty type and of robust construction and hence is very useful to industries requiring large quantity of tins/cans to be opened. CONSTRUCTION: Opener body is from musaic bushes from self lubricating type sintered phosphor bronze material, cutter wheel and rachet wheel from alloy tool steel duly harderned and temepered for longer life. It is very simple in operation yet does clean and neat cutting. No adjustments necessary for different diameters or heights of tins. Base design enables clamping it to a table  or fixing it by screws on work top. Can operated mechanism ensures easy piercing of tins. Opener is so designed as to grip the tin while cutting and hence no need of holding tin by hand while cutting. Spring loaded floating cutter wheel enables clean cutting of can throughout its periphery. Cutting action being rotary, the edge of the cutter wheel does not get blunt as in case of fixed type cutting blades hence no sharpening or replacement of blade for long time. All wearing out parts are made Inter changeable type for easy replacement. Necessary parts are electroplated to prevent rust.
