Trading:
Gujarat is a leading agricultural producer as well as hub for many Agri-processing activities. This provides a very good opportunity in the field of trading Agri-commodities, which are being produced in Gujarat as well as those, which are consumed here. Being in proximity of India’s leading port Kandla and Mundra, we get good opportunity for trading in import/export related commodities, hence SACPL also do trade in Exim related commodities. Under trading activities SACPL majorly deals in commodities having either origin or consumption in Gujarat, following are stated major commodities SACPL trade in:

In our trading we take care that we buy directly from origin to gain the price and quality competitiveness, whether it’s domestic or international trade. Like for imported Sesame and Water Melon seeds we source goods from Sudan/Nigeria which are actually origin to these commodities. And while selling our traded commodities we take care that the destination is actual consuming center. This not only improve on our margins but also build long term relation with actual value chain participants which are going to remain in this field for longer term.
With due weightage to risk management majority of our trading is a closed loop trading with minimal open end strategies.
Processing:
SACPL is engaged in primary level processing which does not change the form of goods but clean and grade them according to various quality parameters of respective Agri-Produce. Farm level quality of Agri-produce require a level of cleaning and grading before it become consumable for processor as well as actual consumer.
SACPL has its modern mechanized cleaning and grading plant at Kuvadva, Rajkot (Gujarat). Which is capable of process 20 MT seed spices per day and 20 MT pulses/grains per day. With that decent capacity as of now, we are aiming to build an integrated processing facility going forward, with increased capacity as well as secondary level processing too.
Here in this facility we have capacity to pack bulk as well as small retail packs ranging from 50 Kg, 30 Kg to 1 Kg and 500 Gm.
Marketing:
SACPL do have presence in consumer and bulk packing distribution and marketing, ranging from 30 Kg bulk pack to 1 kg and 500 gm packing under registered brand Name “Shethji” in class 31 of Indian trade mark registration. Though a new initiative but very potential at the same time. We are following traditional as well as modern sales channels for selling our branded products. We do sell in local Kariyana market via direct selling to retailers, as well as via distributors at remote locations who cater to smaller retailers further. We are getting associated with online retailers too to increased are reach and penetration, just to mention we are empaneled vendor to dealshare.in which is a well-funded e-commerce initiative of ex flipkart executives and soon we will have preferred association with them for PAN India sales of seed spices in our Brand i.e. SHETHJI Spices.
At this point of time while writing this profile, our consumer packs are available in (Hyderabad), and Karnataka (Hubli).
