Cutting Oil Additive is Oil Soluble Additive. It is a brown colour, naphthenic or paraffinic oil soluble, a premium, cutting oil additive. It is a true synthetic metalworking coolant capable of easily handling most grinding, sawing, turning, boring, milling and drilling operations. Cutting Oil Additive forms a stable translucent solution over a wide range of water hardness and temperatures. This clarity greatly enhances work piece visibility. This unique formula is non-corrosive to steel, cast iron, brass, copper, aluminium and carbide tooling. Its emulsifier mixes readily with water to form stable emulsions and has best rustpreventative properties. It is inhibited against foaming. This product is suitable for a wide range of metal cutting and grinding operations. It will effectively remove heat from the work piece and can be applied as a stream, or in mist form.

Description FE CUT S Series is a MULTI-PURPOSE SOLUBLE CUTTING OIL manufactured from carefully selected paraffinic base oils and proprietary emulsifiers which have a bearing on the stability of the emulsion even with water of 400 ppm hardness. A stable milky white emulsion is prepared by adding the oil to water with continuous stirring. During casting or green stage, controlling rate of reaction between various raw materials like Quick lime , aluminum powder and silica from Sand and cement etc is paramount to the stability of mould. KVN -108 acts as a catalyst as well as retarder. KVN- 108 contents a Plasticizer or a Super plasticizer either a non-surface active polymer or usually a blend of all to improve the bonding of particles and to prevent settling or clumping of light particles available in raw materials like sand, Aluminum Powder, quick Lime Etc. It also contains blend of some organic oils and surfactants and polymers to provide strength to cell walls at green stage inside the mass during reaction between solid mass, water and Metal Powder as well as liberation of Hydrogen gas by adjusting the surface tension of mass.Role of Soluble Oil plays a very important in prevention of mould shrinkage as it prevents the water separation from the solid mass and also plays important role in controlling the rate of reaction between various reactants like calcium (from cement & Lime) and Silica( From Cement & Sand ) which results in 1:1 nm Tobermorite( C- S-H Calcium Silicate Hydrate ) which is principal final product of AAC. Improper mixing of various ingredients in the formulation may results in un reactive Calcium Hydroxide which gives less than optimum block strength and also Lattice Shrinkage.
