White kernel obtained from tamarind seed is used to produce Tamarind Kernel Powder and its derivatives like Carboxy Methyl Tamarind Gum. Tamarind Seeds and its derivatives have various application in Food, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, etc. The kernels contain polysaccharides (jellose) having a very good sizing property or employed as a sizing agent for jute and textile yarns.
