Pomegranate (Dalim) Plants Pomegranate plant is a fruit, ornamental plant and type of shrub, which belongs from family of “Lythraceae”. It is known “Dalim” as Bengali name and scientific name of this plant is “Punica granatum”. Pomegranate is red in color and it is a less sweet, delicious fruit.
