SPECIFICATIONS : This is the more traditional and popular instrument for measuring the porosity and air permeability in materials with intermediate values. May also be tested materials of lower air permeability, using smaller diameter hole measuring plates. The air pressure is produced by an inner cylinder of specific diameter and standardized weight, floating freely in an outer cylinder partly filled with oil serving as air sealing.
