In recent years, handloom technology has been advanced in manufacturing of carpet and a new technique has been developed for weaving of durries which is knows as Jacquard Durries. In this weaving technique a unique machine is installed with handloom for making the design & pattern on durries. The design & pattern is developed by making holes in a set of cardboards of equal size and shape which are stitched together to make the complete design & pattern. The weaving is done by well-trained craftsmen and 1 to 3 craftsmen require operating the loom that depends on size of the rugs.   These rugs made up of different materials like wool, cotton, viscose, jute etc. and available in unique design & pattern with or without backing canvas that provide luxurious look.
