The basic purpose of Welding Pipe Stands (or Pipe Stands) is to hold a pipe firmly and safely and also enable easy rotation of the held pipe. These features enable easy handling of the pipe and it can be easily welded or cut into pieces. A simple welding pipe stand includes a removable or fixed head mounted on a tripod stand. This head is the part used for holding the pipes. The tripod stand can be made to be easily foldable which ensures easy carriage and storage once the work is accomplished. A proper combination of the stand and the head ensures that the pipe is correctly balanced. The welding pipe stands can be manufactured in a wide range of sizes and applications. Just like the sleeve bush, the split bush too is only a “sleeve” of material with outside diameter, inside diameter and length. However it differs from the sleeve bush in its construction type. While the sleeve bush is solid all the way around, the split bush (as the name suggests) has a cut along its length. These bushes come as sleeve and flanged type bushes. A solid sleeved bush is only a “sleeve” of material with O.D., I.D. and length. This type of bush is solid all the way around. A flanged bushing is a sleeve bushing with a flange at one end extending radially outward from the OD. The flange is used to positively locate the bushing when it is installed or to provide a thrust bearing surface.

A pipe clamp is often employed in woodworking and piping applications. These clamps can be manufactured with customized pipe lengths. Having threads at both ends of the pipe also allows the use of pipe couplings, joining two lengths of pipe to extend the length of the clamp. Pipe clamps can be manufactured with black or galvanized finishes.

The float discs are also known by many other names like floating discs, float pans, power trowel discs, etc. Float discs are circular metal disks with an upturned edge, clip angles for blade attachment and a bottom profile that varies from flat to slightly curved. These are attached to Power Trowel machines for flattening concrete or other floor surfaces. These are suited for both walk-behind trowel machines as well as ride-on trowel machines. The float discs can be manufactured in a variety of sizes depending upon the application and the capacity of the power trowel machines. Generally, the sizes range from 24 inches to 48 inches diameter and 2mm to 4mm thickness. The capacity of the float discs is also determined by the floor area they cover before wearing out. The difference is that this type of bush has a clench (or clinch) across the cut connecting the parts.
