Manufacturing tolerance for master setting rings is as per i.s.3485-1983 & that for plain gonogo rings are as per i.s.3455-1971. Master setting rings are used to set internal diameter setting instruments such as, dial bore gauges; 3 point internal micrometers and dia-test plugs. Plain gonogo rings are plain limit gauges for checking shafts. Made from prime quality alloy steel; these rings are stabilized by subzero process @ -80oc; in a specially designed low temperature test chamber to arrest the dimensional growth. Calibration of these rings is done on carl ziess make horizontal metro scope; accuracy of which is traceable to national standards of length through NPL. Individual gauge is supplied with calibration report. Salient Features : For Setting Internal diameter measuring instruments and for use as GO/NOGO Ring Gauges. Made from Alloy Steel and hardened to 60 HRC Subzero treated for dimensional stability @ -80oC, in numerically controlled Test Chamber.
