Delta trap is usually made of polypropylene flute board or plain PP sheet laminated paper board. The name comes from their shape which is in the form of “Delta (Δ)”. The triangular shaped opening at both ends provides entry for the insects. An arrangement is provided inside the trap to place a sticky adhesive sheet on the base at the bottom and a hanger at the top to hold the pheromone dispenser.How it worksInsects enter the trap through the delta/triangle shape entrance in response to the pheromone emitted by the lure that is placed inside the trap. Once inside the trap, insects strike against the wall while in flight and fall on to the adhesive sheet placed at the bottom of the delta trap. Where in they will get stuck and killed.Storage/Safety/Disposal precautions : Store away from sunlight until the actual moment of placing in the field. Keep away from fire and heat of 60 degrees celsius plus temperature. Mode of disposal and precautions to be identical to those followed while disposing of any regular plastic polymer product.

INSTALLATION OF FLY CATCHERS   For the best results on installation Place unit close to the ground level as possible to a maximum height of 7 feet.   Locate unit near entry points of flying insects.   Never place unit directly above work or production facility.   In large area locate on ceiling one unit above 7 feet from ground level.     Other units to be spaced at 150 to 200 sqft. from each other.   Place unit away from sunlight and artificial lighting especially mercury vapour lamps.     Such sources effect efficiency of the unit.   Avoid Areas where strong air currents hinder the movement of insects towards the unit.
