Zinc Phosphonate Based Scale And Corrosion Inhibitor is a superior blend of organic products designed to control scale, corrosion, and non-biological fouling in cooling water systems. It is specially created to meet the needs of systems, containing a high concentration of hardness salts. An effective organic corrosion inhibitor used in an acidic and aggressive environment can form an adsorption film on the surface of a metal, slowing down the diffusion of ions and inhibiting the occurrence of metal corrosion. this formulation meets extreme corrosion challenges for low and middle-range temperature oil and gas extraction sites and downhole operations. Depending on the conditions, operating limitations, and specific applications, Imidazoline can be formulated as oil-soluble, oil-soluble/water-dispersible, or water-soluble/oil dispersible. Imidazoline manifests corrosion inhibition properties in oil-based and water-based systems (having low acid acetate salts). Its hydrophobic bond prevents any kind of reaction between corrosive elements and metal ions by forming an adsorption layer over the application surface and its hydrophilic bond ensures its stability. The cationic of imidazoline helps it to remove water and foster adhesion in a damp environment. Matalcoat 3250 acts as Corrosion Inhibitor for Pipes, rods, structural, sheets, dies, any exposed metal surface. Matalcoat performs as corrosion inhibitor on metal objects preventing it from atmospheric corrosion and rusting. Matalcoat can be ap-plied on the metal by spraying, brushing or immersing. It forms a thin waxy layer on top of the metal surface which cures within 30 minutes and it acts a cover to prevent against corrosion. Details : On new metals - The surface of the metal needs to be cleaned of any oily or grease by using suitable cleaners or a diluted po-tion of Matalcoat with water can be used to clean and then dried (air dried). Matalcoat can be sprayed or brushed or im-mersed for a period of 1 - 2 minutes and then air dried for around 30 minutes to 1 hour. Full curing happens between 6 to 8 hrs depending on the conditions. Once it is dried, it forms a base for any additional coating like painting, oiling, power coating, etc On used metals - The surface of the metal to be cleaned of any dust or loose particles. To ease the operation, a dilute portion of Matalcoat can be applied on the metal and after 5 to 10 minutes, it can be cleaned with cloth and further again cleaned with dilute Matalcoat for better surface preparation. Matalcoat can be sprayed or brushed or immersed for a period of 1 - 2 minutes and then air dried for around 30 minutes to 1 hour. Full curing happens between 6 to 8 hrs depending on the conditions.
