The extruded fin is formed from an outer aluminum tube with a large wall thickness (muff), which is aligned over an inner base tube. The two tubes are pushed through three arbors with rotating discs that literally squeeze or extrude the aluminum fins up and out of the muff material in a spiral shape in one operation. Thus, provides an external surface on tube for increasing the surface area of the bare tube, resulting in a compact heat exchanger. These tubes are used for heat transfer i.e. Cooling, heating of water, steam, air, gases, oils and many other vapors, fluids etc. These tubes are used in finned tube heat exchangers, steam radiators, autoclaves, condensers, dryers, ovens, furnaces, air heaters, oil coolers, after coolers, air compressors and in many other heat transfer equipments. Advantages – 1.easy to clean with a high-pressure water jet without deforming the fins. 2.the tube is not mechanically stretched to adhere to the fins. 3.uniform and reliable heat transfer. 4.no galvanic corrosion between the tube and fins. 5.the fins are vibration resistant. 6.perfectly suited to industrial applications. 7.unequalled qualityprice ratio for demanding applications. 8.excellent mechanical resistance. Material - •fin material – aluminium (1070; 1060; 1050); copper. •tube material – m.s, s.s, aluminium, copper.
