The leaf is then fired in a conventional drier and spread out to cool. Before the leaves have had a chance to dry, they are rolled again. If the cooling process has begun to dry the leaves, they are mixed with some of the juice preserved from the first rolling to prevent breakage during rolling. The second rolling is done without pressure and gives the leaf a pleasing twist. The leaves are then dried a final time in a conventional dryer and spread out to cool. After 24 hours, they are sorted. Some green tea manufacturers in India polish the tea in a revolving drum, with or without polishing agents, and also sometimes colour them with indigo. However, some countries do not allow the sale of artificially coloured and polished green teas.
