Single Flap Keder has one flap, which can be welded or sewn to the material. It can be welded using wedge welders, hot air welders, or RF welders requiring only a simple overlap weld.

Double Flap Keder has two flaps, which “sandwich” the fabric and then are welded or sewn to the fabric. As there are three layers of fabric to be welded at the same time, it is recommended to be welded using a radio-frequency welder.
