DC/DC converters are designed to convert the voltage from DC power source to the single/multiple output voltages required by load devices with Galvanic Isolation and Dynamic correction.DC/DC converters are used in 220 V /110 V battery- powered systems in order to obtain low voltages 24 V or 48 V. The converters take advantage of redundancy, to ensure a highly reliable power supply to low-voltage loads eliminating the use of back-up batteries 24V or 48V. A single rack contains three identical DC/DC converters designed to operate in parallel. The output power of any two converters is sufficient to supply the loads. During normal operation, the load is distributed between the three converters, each of them supplying one third of the output power. Should one of the converters fail, the remaining two will continue to supply power to the loads. A 220V or110 V battery in combination with the DC/DC converter provides an uninterrupted supply to the low-voltage devices. They can also be used to supply high-voltage loads 220V or 110V from a 24 V or 48 V battery supply with no need for 220 V or 110 V batteries.Their main benefit is to save the costs of installing and maintaining the multiply batteries

Completely powered from batteries, this discharger is designed to operate with various battery systems and is extremely cost effective. It is completely powered from the Batteries under test, i.e. no mains supply is required. Therefore, tests are not terminated part way through, by a temporary mains power outage. The unit uses forced air-cooling. The Load is housed in a compact, rugged enclosure with and is lightweight for the power rating and is also completely portable. The Load may be left on site, unattended, for an extended period, if required. The Load Bank has constant current operation. The load current is continuously variable over the entire current range. The current can be controlled from front panel. It is possible to select the "End Voltage" per cell as per battery type. When enabled the load monitors the overall battery Voltage and when it drops to the "End Voltage" it will automatically disconnect the load and the current will drop to zero. Thus, the Battery Discharger now becomes an intelligent Load, it prevents deep discharge of the batteries and hence prevent any possible damage to them. When this load is used in conjunction with the BMS, (Battery Monitoring System) the 'End Voltage' can be programmed and this will automatically disconnect the load when the BMS senses that the 'End Voltage' has been reached. This feature will override the LVD in the load. Its panel has various rear panel connectors. The front panel has text Display for battery Voltage and discharge current. The Battery Discharger has been designed to be very reliable, easy to use and suitable for field use. It is thermally safe and has fan fail detectors for all fans together. The DC input is fused and over voltage protection is included. The DC power connection is on the rear side of panel.
