The Ribbon Blender can be used in either batch or continuous flow form to achieve a homogenous blend of a wide range of materials. It is a widely used style of blender and can be found in the pharmaceutical, food, animal feeds, confectionery, chemicals, fertilizer, plastics, cosmetics, pigments and insecticides industries. Digidale Ribbon Blenders are suitable for the distribution of liquids, fragrances and slightly pasty components in micro dosages onto carriers.Each unit consists of a horizontally-mounted, 'U'-shaped trough containing a double helix blender bar and a longitudinal shaft of twin-bladed construction. Material is introduced and mixed by means of an agitator. The resultant mixing is gentle but with good shear and impaction.In double helical design The outer ribbon displaces the material from the ends to the center while the inner ribbon moves the material from the center to the ends. This counter-current action results in homogenous blending.As the agitator rotates, the material is tumbled and carried radially around the inside of the blender.The pitch of the outer ribbon moves the material toward the discharge opening.The inner ribbon which has an opposing pitch moves the material away from the discharge opening

The right hand side shaft is connected to a standard gearbox by means of chain and sprockets, which in turn is coupled to an electric motor. The whole drive assembly is covered with S.S. side panel. The inside portion of Octa body is mirror polished and the outside surface of Octa body; frame & guards are matt polished. The material to be mixed is charged in machine either manually from top or bin charging system or vacuum charging system and then the port is locked positively. Then blender is started to preset blending time. At the end of process, machine is stopped and the product is transferred to process containers by opening the butterfly value.

We are offering v blender. Two hollow cylindrical shells joined at an angle of 75 degrees to 90 degrees. Material continuously splits and recombines. Ribbon Blender comprises of a U-Shaped Horizontal Trough with  Double Helical Ribbon Shaft rotating within. The ribbons rotate at approximately 70 – 100 meters per minute and move the material both radially and laterally to ensure thorough blends in short cycle time. Ribbon Blenders are used for blends that are between 50 to 100% of the rated working capacity without change in blend properties. Ribbon Blender GMP Model RB 400 supplied is designed and manufactured for mixing of cocoa based product. This unit has a gross capacity of approximately 600 Liters and has working capacity of approximately 400 Liters. The blender is powered by a 3.75 KW/ 5HP, 1440 RPM, 4 Pole, Nord make Geared Motor.
