Fume hood can reduce or eliminate exposure to volatile liquids, dusts, and mists The fume hood is often the primary control device for protecting laboratory workers when working with flammable and/or toxic chemicals. Hoods protect workers by: Containing vapors, dusts, gases, and fumes generated within the hood, and removing them as air flows into the hood and then out via the laboratory exhaust system. Features : Outer body of fume hood is made of mild steel duly powder coated Work table is made of 0.8 mm thick stainless steel 304 sheet or 16 mm thickness Granite slab. A sliding door of aluminum frame fitted with full view clear glass moves vertically up/down with counter balanced weight operated by steel rope Hose is provided with fluorescent light for easy working in the chamber and a storage cabinet is also provided for storing of material A 6/16 Amp socket and switch is also provided in hood for providing electric supply to small devices – hot plate, magnetic stirrer, etc used in hood The control panel is fitted with on/off switches for mains, motor-blower, tube light and socket Machine requires 230V, Single Phase, 50 Cycles, AC power supply Optional : Fume Duct and exhaust line – PVC or HDPE as required Inner chamber made of SS 316 and outer made of SS 304 Small SS sink or PP sink with water tap and water drain outlet fitted on work table Colour coded utility service remote control valve 2 nos for air (nitrogen, oxygen, etc) & water knobs are mounted on front side of hood outside the working chamber. Nozzle is fitted inside the chamber. Stream lined airfoil made at the bottom of hood work table opening for smooth flow and avoiding turbulence inside the hood. We are offering for our valued client’s quality approved Fume Hood. This is designed in accordance with the set industry standards at our end. Offered fume hood can be accessed in varied sizes and dimensions for applications in different industries. Our professionals use the latest technology and optimum quality raw-material for manufacturing this product. In order to meet exact needs of our clients, this can be customized in various Features : » Smooth finish » Unique look » Innovative design Baffle: Removable plates incorporated into the rear or top of the work chamber to form a plenum between the work chamber and the exhaust duct connection to promote uniform scavenging of fume and the point of discharge. Exhaust System: All exhaust air ductwork, fan and associated equipment installed between the point of connection to the fume hood and the point of discharge. Face Velocity: The velocity of the air passing through the work opening of the fume hood measured in the plane of the sash. Measured in feet per minute (fpm), or litres per second. Make-up Air: Air needed to replace the air exhausted from a room by the fume hood and other ventilation devices. Plenum: A low-velocity chamber used to distribute static pressure (from the fan in the system) throughout its interior. Sash: A transparent safety screen in the work opening of the fume hood, which can be positioned between the operator and the work chamber for protection. The opening can be adjusted vertically to vary the size of the opening and control the face velocity of air into the fume hood.

We are offering fume hood convential type. Fume hoods are laboratory primary safety testing device . A laboratory fume hood is a ventilated enclosure where harmful or toxic fumes or vapors can be handled safely. The purpose of the hood is to capture, contain and remove contaminants, preventing their escape into the laboratory. This is accomplished by drawing contaminants within the hood’s work area away from the operator, so that inhalation and contact are minimized. in convential type fume hood bypass type air flow option is not available.

Airflow into the hood is achieved by an exhaust blower that “pulls” air from the laboratory room into and through the hood and exhaust system. This “pull” at the opening of the hood is measured as face velocity. A baffle, air foil and other aerodynamically designed components control the pattern of air moving into and through the hood. Contaminated air within the hood is then diluted with room air and exhausted through the hood’s duct system to the outside where it can be adequately dispersed at an acceptably low concentration. Our fume hood performs effectively and safely at the face velocity of 100 fpm (or 0.5mtr/sec) at defined sash opening. These laboratory fume hoods consist of standard vertically operated counter balanced toughened glass sash opening. It will have double skinned construction to make it safer. It comprises of electrical components and utilities as per the need of experiment. Basic types of Fume hood - Constant Air Volume (CAV) Variable Air Volume (VAV) Fume hood type depend upto function and Construction. We bring forth the High Tech Laboratory Fume Hood featuring the New Pyramid Safety Concept. The Labairtec Fume Hood System from RENGGLI AG, Switzerland brings an elevated level of safety and dependability while affording more comfort at work. The new four step pyramid safety concept is the result of close design and engineering cooperation with aerodynamic and air exhaust specialists (Tintschl and Thyssenkrupp). The Laboratory Fume Hood effectively protects the health of laboratory operators. Description : The Labairtec Fume Hood System features a newly developed Air Intake System (Bypass) and a unique Air Exhaust System (Exhaust Modules). The air volume is being specifically reduced and the intake power is increased. This results in a significant increase in terms of operator safety while considerably decreasing operating cost. The Labairtec Fume Hood System permits post fitting reinstalled modular components, thus facilitating installation while keeping down cost. Decontamination is straightforward through simple removal of air carrying components for cleaning and easy reinstallation. A Fume Hood or fume cupboard is a type of ventilation device that is designed to limit the user's exposure to hazardous or noxious fumes, vapors or dusts. A fume hood is typically a large piece of equipment enclosing five sides of a work area, the bottom of which is most commonly located at a standing work height. Fume hoods serve to control exposure to toxic, offensive or flammable vapors, gases and aerosols. Fume hoods are the primary method of exposure control in the laboratory. Fume Hood cabinet inside Negative pressure, there for control exposure to toxic, offensive or flammable vapors, gases and aerosols. Two main types exist, ducted and reticulating. The principle is the same for both types: air is drawn in from the front (open) side of the cabinet, and either expelled outside the building or made safe through filtration and fed back into the room. Fume Hood is available in, SS 304 / SS 316 / SS 316L, CRCA Powder coated.
