The packing set comprises an endless U-ring firmly supported by a header ring. The lips of the U-ring are slightly flared to provide an interference fit for initial sealing. When system pressure is applied, the sealing force is increased significantly by reaction within the tongue-shaped cavity of the U-ring. Under slight axial compression, the header ring also spreads the U-ring lips slightly to improve low pressure sealing efficiency. Wiper Seal is an axial seal used to create a tight fit whilst still allowing a reciprocating ram rod to pass through the inner bore of the seal. The primary is of wiper seal is to prevent dust, debris and moisture entering the gland housing of sealing system and damaging the pressure seals of a fluid system as reciprocating or rotating parts move, with expensive or even dangerous results.

Rubber U-Seal is the most compact and versatile of the many lip type available. In its several configurations it may be utilized as an ID-Rod Seal or OD-Rod Seal. The U-Seal with long thin lips has very low dynamic friction and can accommodate out of round or eccentric components. Rubber sucker is the product used to create the negative fluid pressure of air or water to adhere to nonporous surfaces, creating a partial vacuum. The working face of the suction cup is made of elastic, flexible material and has a curved surface.

Rubber O-ring, also known as a toric joint, is a mechanical gasket in the shape of a torus with a round cross-section, designed to be seated in a groove and compressed during assembly between two or more parts, creating a seal at the interface. Rubber O-ring may be used in static applications or in dynamic applications where there is relative motion between the parts and the O-ring.

Rubber diaphragm is a flexible membrane that seals and isolates an enclosure. The flexible nature of this seal allows pressure effects to cross the barrier but not the material being contained. Common uses for diaphragm seals are to protect pressure sensors from the fluid whose pressure is being measured.

Rubber buffers are robust and effective elastic cushioning elements and shock absorbers. These buffers are ideal for elastic travel limitation and cushioning knocks by mobile and immobile aggregates and machines. The rubber buffers can also be used in machinery as a limiting element against any extreme oscillations for instance with the shifting of the resonance frequency or as part of a flexible guide rail. It is used to dampen of all types of drops, impact shocks and stopping mechanisms. The buffers absorb the kinetic energy so that the shock from the impact is minimized.

Rubber Piston is used to contain pressure on one side of a piston without leakage, therefore allowing maximum mechanical effort to be applied to moving the piston along the bore of a cylinder. Rubber Piston consists on MS Steel which has rubberized coating on it. It is used for high pressure pneumatic application.

Fluid Seal is a relatively soft, non-metallic ring, captured in a groove or fixed in a combination of rings, forming a seal assembly, to block or separate fluid in reciprocating motion applications. Hydraulic seals are vital in machinery. Their use is critical in providing a way for fluid power to be converted to linear motion. A static fluid seal is located in a groove and sees no movement - only sealing within its confined space, acting like a gasket. To achieve this, the gasket should be under pressure. The pressure is applied by tightening of the bolts. A type of dynamic hydraulic seal called a rod seal is exposed to movement on its inner diameter along the shaft or rod of a hydraulic cylinder. A type of dynamic hydraulic seal called a piston seal is exposed to movement on its outer diameter along the tube or bore of a hydraulic cylinder.

Chevron packing seals also known as V packing seals are highly adaptive sealing products of standard rubber that comprises of rings of multiple “V” shaped lip seals that have been stacked vertically between reinforced header and compression ring to form a complete packing assembly. They are assembled with a reinforced backing ring to assist with extrusion resistance and with a compression ring that is used to impart axial squeeze on the chevron packing thereby imposing a transverse strain and energizing the packing. One important benefit of the vee packing is that it can operate under any mechanical situations. “V” shaped rings can be one or more as per requirement. These V shaped intermediate rings are tapered to snap-fit the housing during installation, thus they provide a good seal even at low pressures. Operating Capabilities They can operate at a pressure up to 5000 psi (344.737) bars. The operating temperature is in the range of 30 to 150 degree Celsius. The temperature working conditions completely depend on the material used when manufacturing the vee packing. Reciprocating speed is up to 0.5 meter per second.
