These two devices are kept apart facing each other. The transmitter sends pulses of light in the infra red range which are invisible to the human eye. The receiver device opposite to the transmitter receives these rays. On interruption of these rays by the target object, receiver gives a signal which is amplified and fed to output transistor. ADVANTAGES - Large sensing distance is possible as emitter and receiver are kept opposite to each other. - Suitable for precise detection of large as well as small objects. Proximon’s head office is situated at Thane, a developed Industrial & trade sector near Mumbai. The factory is situated in Navi Mumbai, which provides close communication & co-ordination between sales office and production units.

Product Facility and Methodology
A team of qualified engineers & technicians constitute our core manufacturing unit. Although, a vendor is selected after close scrutiny as per our standard assessment procedure, each incoming component is thoroughly tested as per quality manual, with the help of test equipments. A few testing jigs are developed in-house to facilitate efficient testing & remove non-conforming products at the incoming stage itself. After vigilant in-process quality control, the finished products like Inductive Proximity Sensors, etc. are again subjected to quality tests as required.
The details on Quality Control & Assurance System adopted in Proximon is also enclosed. The number of repeat orders and the status of preferred supplier that we have achieved today, are the result of our technical expertise and endless efforts to improve and maintain the quality of our products. The turnover figures and the list of major customers reflect our motto of manufacturing quality products.

After successfully establishing a market for proximity sensors through a nation-wide dealer’s network, Proximon has entered into the manufacturing of SMPS (Switch Mode Power Supplies).
