Different grades of rubber (Elastomers) materials are available for manufacturing gaskets. Some common rubber gasketing materials are Neoprene rubber, Nitrile rubber, EPDM rubber, Silicon rubber, PU (Poly Urethane), Viton & Natural rubber.  Normally rubber gasketing types are ring gasket, full face gasket, "O" ring, oil seals, diaphragms & mechanical seals etc
