Secowarwick cuprobraze systems are lead free brazing,more efficient heat transfer and better corrosion resistance. the cuprobraze process is a brazing process specifically developed for the manufacturing of automotive and heavy duty industrial heat exchangers.by using high strength copper alloys it is possible to manufacture light,strong,efficient and compact heat exchangers at a low cost with this environmentally friendly, lead free process. the brazing of cuprobraze radiators uses a non-toxic low temperature melting alloy that works well in a nitrogen based controlled atmosphere furnace, the brazing material is lead free and there is no post-braze treatment required,such as rinsing.binders and braze alloys can be applied to the tubes,fin tips or headers by sprayingbrushingrolling.after brazing ,the brazed copper brass joints are significantly stronger than the solder metal and do not suffer from galvanic corrosion. Developed for this process,anneal resistant header,fin and tube materials assure the strength of the products. secowarwick can provide either a two chamber or three chamber cuprobraze furnace system.these furnaces are front loading with a purgingcooling vestibule and a convection heating chamber.the furnace is compact design with an internal circulation fan and cooling blower that uses minimal floor space ( 8 mtr x 8 mtr) our standard models are ........ 1.c-121204 ( 1200 length x 1200 width x400 mm height ) 2.c-151204 ( 1500 length x 1200 width x400 mm height ) 3.c-151504 ( 1500 length x 1500 width x400 mm height ) 4.c-181806 ( 1800 length x 1800 width x600 mm height ) continuous furnace systems: seco warwick has developed a large volume,continuous operating cuprobraze furnace line. The system consists of a convection brazing furnace,water jacketed cooling chamber assembly, air blast station and accubraze plc computer control system. The heart of the system,the convection braze furnace ,is split into multiple control; zones. Each zone is equipped with direct fired,high velocity burners that are mounted horizontally above and below the muffle and a variable speed fan. The secowarwick design allows continuous brazing of various sized loads and is specifically recommended for diversified production. controls: a plc based control system is responsible for temperature control,sequencing and logic required for the system with the option of adding secowarwick's accubraze computer controls to enhance the interfacing between the operator and plc.

Seco warwick make controlled atmosphere aluminum brazing, otherwise known as cab brazing, is the preferred process for manufacturing aluminum heat exchangers. seco warwick cab brazing systems are used in automotive and hvacr manufacturing for brazing radiators,condensers,oil coolers,evaporators,heaters and charge air coolers. we also offer cuprobraze copper-brass brazing technology, a process for heavy duty truck and off-road radiators and charge air coolers. since entering the cab market in 1983,seco warwick has introduced many product innovations including improved muffle designs,convection heating technology,atmosphere controls,accubraze pcplc controls,heating control systems,energy and space saving designs. aluminum brazing involves joining of components with a braze alloy ( cladding) whose melting point is appreciably lower than that of the parent material( base alloy). The assembly is heated to a temperature where the cladding material melts and the parent material does not. Upon cooling , the cladding forms a metallurgical bond between the joining surfaces of the component. the brazing process occurs in a furnace under the following parameters. 1.operating temperature 580 degrees c to 620 degrees c. 2.job temperature uniformity of +- 3 degrees c, oxygen free. 3.nitrogen atmosphere of (-) 4 degrees c and 100 ppm of o2 content. the main constituents of a continuous controlled atmosphere brazing furnace are 1.thermal de-greaser oven and cooling section 2.wet fluxing section 3.dry off oven 4.inlet purge section 5.pre-heat furnace 6.braze furnace 7.inspection chamber 8.atmosphere cooling section 9.outlet purge section 10.cooling sections 11.scrubber unit 12.control and plc panel etc.
