Baba & Baba Photosales was started in 1987 near Baba Studio at East Fort, Trivandrum, and were into retailing of all photographic related goods. Over the years we grew in stature and credibility among the city residents. After years of retailing in cameras, lenses, tripods and other equipments related to photography, we ensured that we served a wide range of people including amateur to professional photographers. Under the leadership of Shri. V. N. Jayakrishnan who was popularly known as Sai, we offered unique value for money services and rose above the growing competition including online shopping sites with our unbeatable prices.
In 2006, we shifted to a five storey complex at Pazhavangadi and celebrated our 50th anniversary. The complex became the one-stop showroom where everything related to photography was available. The Photo store houses in two floors in the new complex and have wide range of photographic products from leading brands including Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Olympus, Tamron, Sigma, Lowepro, Elinchrom, Epson, Sandisk, Digi-Cabi etc. The store became a one stop shop in photography for amateur and professional photographers.
Now as we enter 2014, our loyal patrons have understood that Baba is a brand is synonymous with comprehensive photographic equipments and services. We are here to help the city shutterbugs explore the world of photography.
Over half a century ago, Babas came into the world of photography capturing the smiles and emotions of the citizens of Trivandrum, the capital city of Kerala.
