The reactive silencers will be of resonance type or multi-chamber type or combination of both.

The exhaust silencer is used to reduce the exhaust noise of the engine and turbine. The engine silencer is a combination of absorptive and reactive type silencer to attenuate high and low frequency noise. The gas turbine exhaust silencer will be absorptive type silencer. The exhaust silencer will be similar to that of vent silencer. It is generally offered in circular shape. The Gas Turbine Exhaust Silencer is used to reduce the exhaust noise of the gases when venting through the stack.The fluid is guided through the annular space of the acoustic packing where the excess noise is absorbed. It is designed as per the customer requirements like acoustic performance, pressure drop, etc. We supply the acoustic packing for these silencers in circular or rectangular shape. The suction silencer is designed for minimum pressure drop to achieve better performance and reduce the system cost.
