A stand alone solar photovoltaic street lighting system, comprises of a 11W / 18W compact fluoresent lamp, Low maintenance lead acid battery or Maintenace free lead acid battery, PV module(s) Control electronics, Interconnecting wires/cables, Pole, Module(s) mounting hardware, Battery box, instruction and maintenance manual. The system designed to switch ON the system at dusk, operate throughout the night and switched OFF at down, automatically. Electronic Protections: Adequate protection is incorporated under no load conditions e.g. when the lamps are removed and the system is switched ON. The system has protection against battery overcharge and deep discharge conditions. Fuse provided to protect against short circuits.
