The centre is headed by Dr. Ajay Murdia, Scientific Director, having experience in the field on infertility of almost 35 years. He graduated in Medicine in 1975 and did his M.D. in Pathology and Microbiology in 1982 and established the centre in 1988. Dr. Ajay Murdia is actively engaged in research work and has published papers in national and international journals. Incidentally when Steptoe and Edwards first reported their success of IVF in the journal "LANCET" in the same issue Dr. Murdia also published a paper on Male Infertility. Dr. Ajay Murdia is an active participant in national and international conferences, seminars, workshops, symposiums, etc. in India and abroad and, a member of various societies prominently European Society Human Reproduction and Embryology ( ESHRE ) and Asian Society Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE).
Our state of art Hi–Tech Embryology lab has been designed as per international standards. Air quality in the lab is a major factor in the continued development of embryo and achieving pregnancy. Keeping this factor in mind INDIRA IVF has imported for the first time in India "EmCell CLOSED WORKING CHAMBERS" from Australia.
