The GSM/GPRS Modem USB uses SIM800 based Quad band 850/900/1800/1900MHz GSM / GPRS module. It can be connected to PC or laptop via  USB directly or to a microcontroller UART using TTL levels. The modem consists of all the external circuit required to start experimenting with the SIM900A module like the power regulation, external antenna, SIM Holder, etc. Modem is built with Quad Band GSM/GPRS based SIM800 module from SIMCOM. It works on frequencies 850/900/1800/1900MHz. SIM900A can search these bands automatically. The frequency bands can also be set by AT Commands. The baud rate is configurable from 1200-115200 through AT command. The GSM/GPRS Modem is having internal TCP/IP stack to enable you to connect with internet via GPRS. Best suited for GSM based Microcontroller Projects (better than SIM300,900a and other GSM Modems) **** Can be Use for Bulk SMS sending using Compatible software.
