Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTD), as the name implies, are sensors used to measure temperature by correlating the resistance of the RTD element with temperature. It is available in different models, to suit the no. Of channels requirement and the various sensors like rtd, thermocouple etc., and the no. Of channels varies from 2/4/8 /16/24/32. It ensures excellent linearity through smart linearization technique. Front panel programmable set value generates the necessary control output by scanning process temperature. The individual or grouped channel control output through relay outputs as per requirement & alarm indications available on front panel. The control action one for alarm and another for trip are maintained. It supports serial communication to take periodical print outs of process parameters and the necessary data logging for analysis.
