Compressed air enters the separator tangentially and passed through the demister pad made of stainless steel wire mesh. A water droplet impinges against each wire and settled in the bottom and separated it from the drain. For a better efficiency Automatic Moisture Drain Trap (ADT) can be provided at the drain for efficient separation.
