Solar DC Combiner Box ACB 18 is specifically designed for combining multiple source circuits from a PV array into a single DC source and monitoring large PV generators. Each source circuit is fused separately using a touch-safe fuse holder conforming to international standards. The combiner box allows fail-safe operation of the system in the unlikely event that a problem with a source circuit leads to abnormally high current. In addition, the combiner box provides a convenient means of isolating the DC portion of a PV system from the inverter for routine maintenance and troubleshooting. The measurement module is equipped with current, voltage and temperature parameters and has an RS-485 port with MODBUS communication protocol to interface with other systems like FRTUs and Data Loggers.

F101 is a feeder level remote terminal unit used extensively for a wide variety of SCADA applications in power,transportation, water, etc. It is capable of monitoring both digital and analog data, communicating with and controlling remote systems. The firmware of F-101 interfaces with the main control centre using various communication protocols compliant with IEC 60870-5-101104, MODBUS, DNP3 and SPORT. F-101 is also compliant with IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-103 and acts as a gateway for various IEDs. It is a non-proprietary, open architecture system with high in-built security and is designed and developed to work in tropical environment.

The Data Concentrator Unit acquires data from multiple energy meters installedin a substation. It has an in-built GSMGPRSCDMA modem through which it will send the captured meter data to a central server. Ami Tech’s Automatic Meter Reader ARG-45 is the latest of its AMR series based on GSMGPRS communication technology and has built-in intelligence. The ARG-45 is a compact, rugged unit, mainly designed to read data from remote energy meters installed at sites of LTHT consumers, feeders, boundary points, Solar, Wind farms, etc.ARG-45 can be supplied as an intelligent or non-intelligent transparent modem for automatic meter reading applications. The device can automatically detect most of the Indian energy meters and reads the data at configurable time intervals and schedules. Ami Tech’s AMR supports data reading from various legacy meters and DLMS meters automatically and will push the data to a remote Meter Data Acquisition System.
