Moreover, these Bitumen primers can easily be diluted with water for various other applications. Bitumen kote emulsions are stable clay emulsions produced from a wide range of basic bitumen, both steam-refined and air blown. They have no common characteristic of smoothly and creamy consistency. They can be diluted easily with water to any consistency required for applications. Features : Crack proof, Durable & Quick Dry. Details : Surface Preparation The surface should be completely free from dust, grease, rust and loose particles. This should preferably done by air compressor / wire brushes. Priming Suitably thinned down with a max. of 25 to 35 % water, primer can be applied by spraying / brush. The primer should be allowed to dry completely. Colour will turn from brown to black. Drying Time 2 to 4 hrs depending on the surface, weather and ventilation arrangement Coverage - 5 to 6 M2 per Kg.
