The capacity and the performance figures given are for the drum in our counter- rotation tank. Capacity per meter of Drum width up to: Pulp 160m3/h- Magnetite30t/h- ferrosilicon 40t/h. The Drum is direct driven by a shaft mounted geared motor unit which eliminates the main-tenance and spare parts associated with chain or belt drives. The drum shell, end flanges and a tank are all made from 304 grade stainless steel. The tank has a full – length weir with adjustable apex. The amount of overflow water and pulp level is controlled by the apex position and orifices plates in the underflow outlets. The drum shell can be fitted with stainless steel wear wrap, alternatively covered with rubber or polyurethane. The internal surface of the tank can be lined with rubber or polyurethane. A trash screen is fitted in the feed box section of the tank. The position of the Drum in the tank is easily adjustable, horizontally and vertically. Recovery up to: 99.9% for primary duty.Concentrate density up to: 3.6 with ferrosiliconThe Drums can be installed into existing tanks (counter- rotation or concurrent) for increased recovery and /or concentrate density. They are particularly suitable for secondary duty, recoveries of over 60% being obtained with pulps containing less than 0.1g/l magnetic. A special feature of the the vacuum fixing is the ease of attachment, which requires no welding or bolting. Construction and working principle Construction and Working Principle: The appropriate vibrator is screwed to the vacuum fixing and connected to the supply hose leading to the hand valve. As soon as the vacuum fixing is connected to the compressed air supply, the unit is sucked tightly to the mounting surface, thus ensuring a strong connection between the vibrator and the surface.The air economizer “S” creates a reduced vacuum, which is sufficient to clamp the vibrator when it is not running and which reduces the air consumption by over 30%.ATEX conform vacuum fixing series VAC and units with stainless plate are available.When the vibrator starts, the fixing device automatically produces the full vacuum. Designed for maximum starting torques and torque curves specific to requirements of vibrating machines, insulated windings using vacuum encapsulating up to size 35; using the “drop by drop” trickle system with class H resin for larger sizes. The rotor is die cast aluminum. 16.Casing: S.G. Iron sizes & shape that improves heat dissipation and lowers normal working temperature at full load.17.Bearing flange:Cover:Constructed in S.G. Iron the geometry of the flange transmits the load to the casing uniformly.18.Bearings:Custom made with particular geometry, especially designed for EMI, suitable to support both high radial and axial loads.19. Motor shaft:In treated steel alloy resistant to stress.20.Eccentricweights:Allow continues adjustments of the centrifugal force.
