Telecom Out Side Plant Raychem RPG has been the pioneer in Thermo-Shrink jointing copper closure system (TSF). TSF jointing kits are designed for the protection of copper joints in a copper cable telecom network. The TSF is applicable for the jointing of the cable ranging from 5 pair to 1200 pair and conductor diameter varying from 0.4 mm to 0.9 mm. Application TSF can be used in direct buried, aerial and ducted installations.It can be used in in-line as well as branch off splices on polyethylene or lead sheath cable. The TSF uses heat shrink technology for sealing purpose of the joint. The sleeve can be used from the cable diameter ranging between 8 mm - 160 mm.

Jointing sleeve, After preparation of the cable, the Cable Outer Conductor Jointing Sleeve is tighten and blocked on 360º between the cone of the connector body and the flexible rear clamp, resulting in high grade mechanical retention and a perfect electrical continuity and complete shielding. All inner contacts are captivated, thus avoiding any risk of damage during coupling of male to female connectors.

One kit is required at the top, one at the bottom of the run, (plus one at 50 meters interval wherever applicable) and one at entrance to the equipment shelter.   Grounding Kit that have been specially tailored to each cable size can be installed very easily and rapidly, once the jacket is stripped at the required dimensions, one kit can be installed in less than three minutes. Kits are provided all hardware necessary to connect the ground wire to the tower ground bar.
