Spiral Welded Pipes
spiral-welded aluminium pipes at its Schalchen plant since 1976. The Group has produced over 1000 km of spiral welded pipes over the decades, delivering outstanding results for customers such as Siemens, ABB and CGIT. Linde’s spiral-welded aluminium pipes can be used for a wide range of applications, including cryogenic processes, gas-insulated switch gears and transmission lines, and process engineering (gas treatment plants). The pipes are made from aluminium and a range of aluminium alloys. They can be up to 18 metres long, with diameters ranging from 273 to 1,200 mm and wall thicknesses from 4 to 10 mm. This flexible portfolio means that Linde spiral welded pipes can be tailored to any industrial requirements. The pipes are manufactured using an optimized proprietary welding process that guarantees joint efficiency of V = 1.0. All materials are tested in line with the code requirements and individual customer specifications. In addition, our pipe surfaces are free of oil and grease, making them ideal for use with oxygen.
...morepsa plants
Our PSA oxygen generator plants are based on a reliable, flexible and trouble-free vacuum pressure swing adsorption (VPSA) process. They are the perfect fit for on-stream applications that require low-cost gaseous oxygen with purity levels of up to 95 percent per volume.
...morepetrochemical plants
Ethylene and propylene are converted to bulk intermediates such as ethylene oxide, acrylic acid and different derivatives. Building the production plants that do this is a complex task that involves a range of issues such as reactive products and special construction materials. Engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors therefore require in-depth technological know-how.
...morehydrogen gas plants
Steam-reforming natural gas is currently the most cost-effective method of producing hydrogen. This proven technology is also at the heart of Linde’s HYDROPRIME® product. Linde successfully launched this new line of fully modularised hydrogen generators in 2015 specifically to meet rising demand for compact, efficient and easy-to-install hydrogen solutions. The launch followed intensive testing by Hydro-Chem, a US-based affiliate of Linde's Engineering Division, which included demonstration of reliable operations in a variety of application scenarios.
...morefired heaters
fired heaters and incinerators as custom-built, turnkey plants or as plant components. These products are mainly used in the petrochemical, refining, gas processing, steel, and environmental engineering industries. The principle design of furnaces and fired heaters consists of a fire box with radiant coils, a convection zone for flue gas heat recovery, a stack, fan(s) and auxiliary components. The recovered flue gas heat is used for feed preheating or steam production. The flue gases leave the heater via stack to ambient air and fulfill local emission regulations. If necessary, we can help achieve a material change in feed chemistry.
...moreCryogenic Tanks
Linde Engineering has supplied more than 20,000 cryogenic tanks for liquefied gases since 1960, delivering highest quality standard designs as well as individual solutions tailored to the most demanding customer requirements Liquefied gases are used in a wide range of applications, including metal processing, medical technology, electronics, water treatment, energy generation and the food industry. Today, more and more of these industrial gases are being delivered to customers in liquid form at cryogenic temperatures, enabling them to be stored on site for later use. We offer cryogenic tanks for the following liquefied gases: Liquid nitrogen (LIN)

They are prefabricated to simplify transportation, installation and commissioning. Many plants undergo a factory test before dispatch to minimise installation and start-up times. MINIGAN is a standard cryogenic plant for production of high purity nitrogen gas and is suitable for outdoor installation. This plant range is based on liquid inject technology with production rates of up to 2600 Nm³hr, with purity levels up to 99.9995% as standard. MINIGAN comprises modules of the warm end and the coldbox.
