The chemical requirements of white cement are generally the same as Ordinary Portland Cement except that the maximum iron oxide content is restricted to less than 1% and the requirement for loss on ignition is not applicable. The clinker of white cement has very low tetra calcium alumino-ferrite (C4AF) content and a high tri calcium silicate (C3S) content.
