When nitric oxide reacts with ozone, nitrogen dioxide in the excited state is produced. These excited molecules return to ground state by emitting light in the region 600-2800nm which is measured using a Photomultiplier tube. The amount of light produced is proportional to the amount of nitric oxide in the sample. Hence the concentration of NO can be determined very accurately. Measuring range: 0-100 / 0- 1000 / 0-2000 ppmResolution: 1 ppm   Fluorescence Based SO2 Stack Gas Analyzer The Uniphos SO2 analyzer is based on UV fluorescence technique, which utilizes measurement of SO2 fluorescence typically in the range of 240-420 nm resulting from the optical excitation of SO2 molecules. The fluorescence intensity is related to SO2concentration. Suitable techniques are adopted to remove interference from moisture and hydrocarbons to make the analyzer highly specific for SO2 detection.
