Composition: Allicin Extracted from combination of Garlic & Onion bulbs. Use Sites:Fields intended for growing Allium crops (such as onions, garlic and leeks), which has been infected with Sclerotia cepivorum.. Target Pest: White rot (Sclerotia cepivorum) Formulation Type: Water Soluble Liquid Introduction: GARLI-GROW contains Allicin which is a naturally occurring compounds found in Alliumcrops, including onion and garlic and are partially responsible for the distinctive odor ofGarlic as well as Onion. Garli-Grow is used as a soil fumigant solution for the control ofwhite rot in onions, garlic, shallots and leeks. Application is recommended for any field thatshows evidence or has a history of white rot infestations. When applied to infected soils inconjunction with a rotational crop, Garli-Grow will mimic the presence of an Allium crop,which will in turn stimulate the germination of white rot spores. The germinated spores willsubsequently perish since no host crop is present. Methods of Application: 1. It is applied as a as a soil fumigant solution at a rate of 30 Liter per acre using an enclosed conventional soil fumigation equipments (shanking system). 2. Alternatively 30 to 40 Liter of Garli-Grow can be diluted in irrigation water (400 Liter) &sprinkled or drop irrigated per acre of land. Timing: Garli-Grow is recommended for use as a preventative control method, therefore, application should be done prior to planting. No Allium species should be in the field when the product is applied.
