Sections) 48mm x 36mm x 0.8mm lip or 70mm x 35mm x 0.8mm lip with suitable tracks are available in the market. The tracks are fixed to floor and ceiling by means of masonry screws or nails. The vertical studs are cut to size and fitted between the top and bottom tracks at 610mm centers. Openings required for doors and windows are marked on the studs and block outs left while fixing the boards. Upon completion of the board fixing, the doors and window frames are fixed with suitable screws.

Bison Panel is the best choice as an alternative to wooden flooring to suit different climatic conditions – as a thermal insulating floor, as hollow flooring, as floating floors and as mezzanine flooring.The following guide lines are recommended for flooring:♦ The minimum thickness of the board for flooring shall be 16mm panels♦ The supporting rafters are to be spaced at 610mm centre to centre or less. The edges of the boards are to be fuly supported and fixed to rafters with screws at 400mm centers♦ Over size screw holes are to be drilled in the board for allowing expansion♦ The board joints should be staggered. They can be fixed flush. But a gap of about 10 to 15mm is to be left on the periphery of the floor to allow for expansion. The gaps can be concealed by a skirting plate fixed on the wall 2 or 3mm above the floor.
